Poop-sniffing dogs work around the world

Golden Retriever sniffing poopSome shelter dogs too intense or feisty to be adopted are being used for sniffing poop around the world.

For instance, Chester, a golden retriever mix, returned recently from a job of sniffing out bear scat in the French Pyrenees.  Other dogs have been trained to help collect floating poop of endangered killer whales.
